Ziwi's law firm marketing prices are printed and there is no long contract: local SEO is $297, $597 or $997 a month per location, ads management is $297, $497 or $797 a month by total ad spend for Google and Meta together, reviews are $197 a month per location, and SEO, ads and reviews run month to month. The website is a $0 build with a 12-month plan at $99 a month for hosting, and the firm owns the site, the domain and the ad accounts. This page is for a managing partner or a solo attorney holding marketing quotes that do not line up. Some legal marketing agencies quote only after a call: Consultwebs has a pricing page that lists no prices (checked October 2026). So we priced each line a firm buys, using prices vendors print on their own sites and benchmarks with a named source, all checked in October 2026. Each agency figure is that agency's own published price, labelled with its name.

How much does law firm marketing cost without a long contract?

The short answer

Ziwi's published entry price for SEO and managed ads is $594 a month, month to month: $297 for Local SEO Essentials and $297 for ads management with ad spend up to $1,500. A law firm buying the same two lines from FWD Lawyer Marketing or Grow Law pays at least $2,645 or $3,950 a month in fees, before a dollar of ad spend, on the entry prices each prints (checked October 2026), though the plans include different amounts of work.

Ad spend goes to Google or Meta on top, and the website, reviews and call answering are separate lines. Here is what each line costs and what pushes it up.

  1. 01

Website. PaperStreet prints law firm sites from about $3,000 for the first year to $40,000 and up (checked October 2026). Ziwi's is a $0 website build with a 12-month plan at $99 a month for hosting, priced in what a website costs.

  2. 02

Local SEO. FWD Lawyer Marketing starts at $1,995 a month and Grow Law at $2,500 (checked October 2026). Ziwi is $297, $597 or $997 a month per location, compared in what local SEO costs.

  3. 03

Google Ads management. FWD Lawyer Marketing charges 25 percent of ad spend with a $650 minimum for its paid search management (checked October 2026). Ziwi is $297, $497 or $797 a month by total spend band, one fee for Google and Meta together, explained in what Google Ads management costs.

  4. 04

Ad spend. At Ziwi it is paid to Google or Meta, never to the agency, at an average of $9.87 a legal click (LocaliQ, June 2026).

  5. 05

Facebook and Instagram ads. The same Ziwi fee ladder, $297 to $797 a month, plus spend.

  6. 06

Reviews. Ziwi's reviews and reputation plan is $197 a month per location.

  7. 07

Intake answering. Ziwi Engage texts back every call or form you miss, within seconds, for $99 a month, and Engage Pro answers by text and call and books the consult for $299, plus AI usage billed at cost.

Legal clicks cost more because a signed case is worth far more than most jobs: attorneys and legal services average $9.87 a click and $131.63 a lead, against $5.42 and $66.69 for all industries (LocaliQ, June 2026). Fewer of those clicks turn into a lead, too: 5.55 in every 100 for legal against 8.18 for all industries, in the same report.

LocaliQ draws the figures from thousands of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, we checked them in October 2026, and every trade's numbers are on what Google Ads costs.

For a law firm, the saving is rarely a cheaper click; it is fewer wasted ones.

How does a personal injury budget differ from a general practice budget?

A personal injury lead costs about $159.17 on Google Ads against $96.54 for a general practice firm, so the same number of leads costs a personal injury firm about 65 percent more in ad spend (LocaliQ legal benchmarks, updated July 2025). Personal injury clicks average $9.30, but only 5.45 in every 100 turn into a lead, the lowest rate of any practice area in that report.

Practice area (LocaliQ, July 2025)Average cost per clickLeads per 100 clicksAverage cost per lead
Accidents and personal injury$9.305.45$159.17
General practice$9.975.52$96.54
Family law, including divorce$7.698.52$103.54
Criminal law$12.309.90$101.49
Estate and probate, including wills$7.929.65$72.24
Bankruptcy$11.7013.56$82.27

The figures come from 256 US search campaigns run between April 2022 and March 2023, so treat them as the shape of the market, not a quote, and we checked the page in October 2026. Criminal law has the priciest click in the table at $12.30, and estate and probate the cheapest lead at $72.24.

At those averages, $1,500 of monthly spend would buy about 15 general practice leads or about 9 personal injury leads, and real results vary by market, offer and spend. Twenty personal injury leads a month would take about $3,200 in spend at those averages, which puts Ziwi's management fee at $497; above $3,500 in spend it is $797, flat, never a share of the spend. The full channel plan for injury firms is on marketing for personal injury firms.

A lower fee is only better value if you can see what arrives, so ask any agency to list its monthly work in writing.

Ziwi prints every price on the pricing page, runs SEO and ads month to month with no long contracts, and has ad spend billed by the platform to your own card. Tracking is included with ads management, so the monthly report shows which calls came from which ads and pages. Local Services Ads work differently: Google charges for each valid lead and says lead prices vary by location, job type, lead type and bidding mode, with no published price list (Google Local Services Help, checked October 2026). How that works out for a firm is covered in what Local Services Ads cost.

Who owns the website and ad accounts when a firm leaves?

The firm should own all 5 pieces: the domain, the website, the Google Business Profile and the Google Ads and Meta ad accounts, with the agency added as a user. Ziwi builds every site and ad account in the firm's name from day one, including the $0 website build with a 12-month plan.

Ask about this first with directory and platform vendors that bundle a website, a directory profile and ads into one package, because a site built on a vendor's own system may not move with you. Get the answers in writing before you sign.

  • The domain is in the vendor's name. The web address with your firm's name should sit in your own registrar account.
  • The ad account belongs to the agency. Leave, and years of your search data stay behind with it.
  • The site only runs on the vendor's platform. Leaving then means a rebuild and redirects, not a handover.
  • A term longer than the work. Ask the contract length and what you owe if you leave early before comparing fees, because a lower fee locked for 12 months can cost more than a month to month plan.

How do state bar advertising rules change what an agency can write?

State bars regulate lawyer advertising, most of them building on ABA Model Rules 7.1 to 7.3, and the details vary by state, so a law firm's agency writes inside limits most other trades never meet. The firm approves every ad, page and post before it goes live, because the lawyer, not the agency, answers to the bar.

We do not give advice on your state's rules: we write conservatively and flag anything that needs your sign-off. These are the limits Ziwi writes to by default.

  • No promised outcomes. No ad or page says how a case will end or what it will win.
  • Results only with your approval. Where your state allows past results, they carry the disclaimer your bar requires.
  • No titles a lawyer has not earned. Practice focus is written in plain words, and a certification is named only when an approved body gave it, with that body named.
  • No testimonials or rewarded reviews. Every client gets the same review request, and replies never confirm a matter.
  • The labels your state requires. Added to pages and ads wherever your bar asks for them, then approved by you.

Law firm marketing cost comes down to a handful of lines: the website, SEO, ad management, ad spend at an average of $9.87 a legal click (LocaliQ, June 2026) and whoever answers the phone. Legal marketing agencies that print prices start SEO at $1,995 a month (FWD Lawyer Marketing, checked October 2026), and Ziwi starts local SEO and ad management at $297 each. For the search side read law firm SEO, for the site read law firm website design, and for the full plan see Ziwi's law firm marketing. The same lines are priced for property managers and senior living communities.
