Google Ads management pricing is what most searches for how much does Google Ads cost really mean: the fee paid to whoever runs the account, separate from ad spend paid to Google direct. Ziwi's fee is $297 a month with ad spend up to $1,500, $497 from $1,500 to $3,500, and $797 above $3,500, run by Ziwi's Google Ads management.

See how we compareThis page is for an owner pricing Google Ads for the first time, or checking whether the fee they already pay is normal. Two numbers decide what Google Ads costs you: what you hand Google for clicks, and what you hand a person or agency to run the account. They are not the same money, and mixing them up is how a budget gets set wrong. "How much does google ads cost" gets about 1,300 searches a month in the US, and the wider cost cluster about 1,600 (our September 2026 pull), yet most of the pages answering it never print a fee.

Google Ads costs you ad spend plus a management fee. Ad spend is billed by Google on your own card, at whatever daily budget you set, and Ziwi never marks it up.
The management fee is published: $297 a month with ad spend up to $1,500, $497 with spend from $1,500 to $3,500, and $797 with spend above $3,500, month to month with no long contract. The platform itself has no minimum, so a $600 a month test is a real option.

The common agency model is a percentage of your ad spend, which means your fee climbs every time you scale. WebFX, one of the few agencies that publishes its numbers, states management fees of 10% to 20% of ad spend, or $1,000 to $3,000 a month (webfx.com PPC pricing page, checked September 2026). Here is that market picture next to Ziwi's flat, published ladder.
| What you are buying | Typical market price, September 2026 | Ziwi's published price |
|---|---|---|
| Ad spend | Paid to Google, sometimes billed through the agency | Paid to Google on your own card, never marked up |
| Management, spend up to $1,500 a month | 10% to 20% of spend, or $1,000 to $3,000 a month (WebFX) | $297 a month, flat |
| Management, spend from $1,500 to $3,500 a month | 10% to 20% of spend, or $1,000 to $3,000 a month (WebFX) | $497 a month, flat |
| Management, spend above $3,500 a month | 10% to 20% of spend, or $1,000 to $3,000 a month (WebFX) | $797 a month, flat |
| Call tracking | CallRail Lead Tracking, $50 a month for 5 numbers and 250 minutes, then $3 per extra number and $0.05 per extra local minute (callrail.com pricing) | Included in the fee, no separate line |
| Contract and exit terms | Not stated on most agency pricing pages we checked in September 2026 | Month to month, and you keep the Google Ads account and its history |
Two rows in that table are worth sitting with.
Percentage pricing charges you more for the same work as you grow, so a business spending $5,000 a month can pay $1,000 in fees for an account that takes no longer to manage than one at $1,500.
And the Google Ads account, the conversion tracking and the historical data belong to you at Ziwi, always, so leaving costs you nothing but a login change. Every market figure in the table is the published number on that company's own pricing page as of September 2026.

Read the guideAcross US search campaigns the average cost per lead is $66.69, on an average cost per click of $5.42 and an average conversion rate of 8.18%. Those figures come from LocaliQ's 2026 Search Advertising Benchmarks, published June 2026 from thousands of US Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns. They are third-party industry averages, not Ziwi results, and they move a lot by trade.
| Industry | Average cost per lead | Source |
|---|---|---|
| All industries | $66.69 | LocaliQ 2026 Search Advertising Benchmarks, June 2026 |
| Attorneys and legal services | $131.63 | LocaliQ, June 2026 |
| Real estate | $102.51 | LocaliQ, June 2026 |
| Home and home improvement (roofing, HVAC, plumbing) | $90.92 | LocaliQ, June 2026 |
| Dentists and dental services | $72.97 | LocaliQ, June 2026 |
| Physicians and surgeons | $40.04 | LocaliQ, June 2026 |
| Beauty and personal care | $39.25 | LocaliQ, June 2026 |
Read those as the shape of the market, not as a forecast for your street. A legal lead costs roughly three times a beauty lead because a signed case is worth many multiples of a facial, and every advertiser bidding on that keyword knows it. Your own number moves with your city, your offer, your landing page and how fast someone answers the phone.
LocaliQ also reported that cost per lead fell year over year for the first time since 2020, driven by better conversion rates rather than cheaper clicks.
Local Services Ads charge per lead instead of per click, so you stop paying for research clicks entirely. Google's own help documentation puts it plainly: "Pay only for leads related to your business and the services you offer." A lead is a customer tapping your ad to call you or send a message request, and Google does not publish a per lead price, because it moves by job type and market.
Want the ads run for you?
A flat fee by spend band, never a percentage of your budget. The Google Ads account, the data and the tracking stay in your name.
Start with the price of one customer and work backwards, not with a budget number someone gave you at a conference. On LocaliQ's all-industry averages, $1,000 of spend buys roughly 184 clicks and about 15 leads. That is arithmetic on published averages, not a promise about your market, but it is the right way to sanity check a budget before you commit to one.
Write down what a customer is worth. Average job value times how often they come back. A $9,000 implant case and a $180 cleaning justify very different bids.
Decide what you can pay for a lead. If one in three leads books, and you will spend up to a fifth of the job value to win it, that sets your ceiling.
Multiply by the leads you actually want per month. Ten leads at a $70 ceiling is a $700 spend test, not a $5,000 one.
Add the management fee on top. At $700 of spend that is Ziwi's $297 band, so $997 all in for the first month.
Give it enough weeks to read. A handful of clicks tells you nothing. Judge on leads over 30 days, then move the budget toward whatever produced them.
At minimum it should cover the work that decides whether the spend converts, not just the button pushing inside the ads account. Ziwi's $297, $497 and $797 tiers each cover campaign build and daily management, keywords and negative keywords, ad writing, conversion tracking, call tracking, and a monthly report in plain numbers. There is no setup fee and no percentage of spend.
As of our SERP check on 3 September 2026, page one for "google ads management cost" is mostly Reddit threads and small agency posts that describe a range and then ask you to book a call. This page prints the number instead: $297, $497 or $797 a month by spend band, month to month, with the account in your name. If you want it run for you, see Ziwi's Google Ads management service, or compare it with what Facebook ads management costs on the same fee ladder.
