Ziwi's marketing lines under $500 a month are published and month to month: Local SEO Essentials and ads management are $297 a month each, reviews and reputation and Social Starter are $197, and maintenance and hosting is $99, with the $2,500 custom website build fee waived on a plan kept 12 months. This page answers the question small business owners ask, which marketing agencies they can afford on less than $500 a month, with those numbers: the six lines that fit on their own, six pairs and trios with their real totals, what that budget does not buy, and what other agencies print for the same money, checked October 2026. If you are still setting the budget itself, start with what a small business should spend on marketing.

Which marketing agencies can a small business afford on less than $500 a month?

The short answer

Ziwi is one: six of its published lines cost under $500 a month on their own, led by Local SEO Essentials at $297 per location, ads management at $297 with ad spend up to $1,500, reviews and reputation at $197 per location and Social Starter at $197, all month to month. Maintenance and hosting is $99 a month and, kept 12 months, waives the $2,500 custom website build fee, while Ziwi Engage is $99 a month plus AI usage at cost.

A few other agencies also print prices in this range, such as Feedbird with social media posts from $99 a month, BrooklynAds with a local SEO plan at $99 a month plus $99 onboarding, and PopScale with Google Ads management from $129 (each agency's site, checked October 2026).

Monthly linePublished priceWhat the money buys
Local SEO Essentials$297 a month per locationGoogle Business Profile posted weekly, citations, on-page fixes with schema markup, AI search optimization, review asks, two new pages or posts a month, rank tracking, monthly report
Ads management, ad spend up to $1,500$297 a monthOne fee for Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Local Services Ads. Landing page, creative and tracking included. Ad spend is paid to the platform on top.
Reviews and reputation$197 a month per locationReview asks, responses, monitoring and profile cleanup
Social Starter$197 a monthOne platform, two posts a week, built from your real work
Maintenance and hosting$99 a monthHosting, updates, backups and small edits. Kept 12 months, the $2,500 custom website build fee is waived.
Ziwi Engage$99 a month plus AI usage at costMissed-call text back, website chat capture and an instant text answer to every lead

The two $297 lines carry most of the value, so it is worth being exact about them. Local SEO Essentials covers one location: its profile posted weekly, listings kept consistent, two new pages or posts a month, and rank tracking, AI search optimization and schema markup with no add-on fee. Ads management at $297 covers every platform you advertise on together, as long as total ad spend is up to $1,500 a month. Ziwi Care at $299, Engage Pro at $299 plus AI usage at cost, Nurture Starter at $297 and Social Full at $497 also come in under $500 on their own, and every one is on the pricing page.

What do real combinations under $500 add up to?

Six combinations stay under $500 a month in Ziwi fees, and they are the ones we would point a one-location business at first. They are examples built by adding printed prices, not named bundles, and nothing is discounted for stacking. Two of them run ads, so the ad spend paid to Google or Meta comes on top of their totals.

The website is why the $99 line is worth more than its price. The custom site is built for your business, you own it from day one, and if you leave inside 12 months you repay only the unearned part of the waived fee, never more. The full terms are printed on the free website page.

The next step up is one more line, not a package. Our marketing retainer packages page adds the same printed prices into stacks from $593 a month, for when one job is no longer enough.

What does under $500 a month not buy?

Under $500 a month buys one or two jobs done well, not a full marketing department. These are the honest limits at Ziwi's published prices:

  • Ad spend. The $297 is the management fee. Clicks are paid to Google or Meta from your own account, so a $297 ads plan with $1,000 of spend is $1,297 of real monthly cost.
  • Local SEO and ads at the same time. Local SEO Essentials at $297 plus ads management at $297 is $594 before a dollar of ad spend.
  • Two new pages or posts a week. That pace is Local SEO at $597 a month per location.
  • Facebook, Instagram and Google posting together. That is Social Full at $497, and paired with anything else it passes $500.
  • A second location. Local SEO and reviews are priced per location, so a second address doubles those lines.
  • Ad spend above $1,500 a month. The management fee is $497 when total spend across platforms is $1,500 to $3,500.
  • A promise about results. Nobody can guarantee a ranking, a lead count or being named by an AI assistant at any price, including us.

None of that is a reason to spend more before the first line is working. Start with the job your business is losing money on today, then add the next line when the first one pays for itself.

What do other providers publish for under $500 a month?

WebFX's published market ranges sit mostly above $500 a month for a single service: its local SEO pricing page puts monthly retainers at $500 to $3,000 a month and one-time projects at $500 to $5,000, it puts social media management at $750 to $7,000 a month, and its PPC page pairs 10% to 20% of ad spend with a $1,000 to $3,000 monthly figure (WebFX, checked September 2026, local SEO rechecked October 2026). Some providers print monthly prices near this budget, usually for one channel: Feedbird lists social media posts from $99 a month for 10 posts and Meta Ads or Google Ads management from $499 a month per channel, Third Marble Marketing's Google Ads Growth plan is $499 a month plus 5% of the click budget, and LYFE Marketing's Starter social media plan is $750 a month for 12 posts on Facebook and Instagram (each checked October 2026 on its own page). Plan Perfect Business sells one-time setup packages instead, including a $500 Business Starter Marketing Package and a $350 paid advertising setup that asks for at least $20 a day of ad spend (checked October 2026).

Freelance marketplaces are the other route people get pointed to at this budget. Prices there are set gig by gig by each seller, so there is no single published monthly figure to put in this table.

Whoever you hire, ask three questions before you sign: is ad spend inside or outside the fee, who owns the accounts, and is there a minimum term.

Which under-$500 line should you buy first?

Buy the line that fixes the leak costing you the most today, which is usually one line at $99 to $297 a month. Match the problem you can see to the line built for it:

  • No website, or one you would rather nobody saw. Maintenance and hosting at $99 a month, kept 12 months, waives the $2,500 custom website build fee.
  • Not showing on Google Maps. Local SEO Essentials at $297 a month per location.
  • The phone needs to ring this month. Ads management at $297 a month, with ad spend up to $1,500 paid to the platform.
  • Fewer reviews than the business down the road. Reviews and reputation at $197 a month per location.
  • Calls missed while you are on a job. Ziwi Engage at $99 a month plus AI usage at cost, which texts back a missed call.

Every one of those lines is month to month, and you own the website, the domain, the Google listing and the ad accounts from day one. To see how agencies price the same work at larger budgets, read how much marketing agencies charge, and every Ziwi price sits on the pricing page.
