Google charges $0 for a Business Profile: its own Business Profile page says "creating a Business Profile and listing your business on Google is free" (checked September 2026). There is no listing fee, no monthly charge and no paid tier that moves you up the map.
Every price on this page is for someone's time: setting the profile up properly once, then keeping it current every week.
Not for sale: a higher spot in the map. Google does not sell placement in the free map results. The ads above them are Google Ads or Local Services Ads, billed separately.
For sale: setup work. Categories, services, photos and the description, done once.
For sale: management work. Posts, replies, photos and upkeep, done every week.

A one-time Google Business Profile setup typically costs $250 to $750, according to Colorado Web Impressions (updated April 30, 2026), and $300 to $500 according to Merchynt's pricing guide, which calls $499 typical (both checked September 2026). Ziwi publishes its setup at $450 once: the profile claimed, completed and optimized for Maps and local search.
Setup is the right purchase when you will run the profile yourself afterwards, or when a new location needs building from nothing. It is the wrong purchase when what the profile lacks is weekly attention, because setup is finished on day one.
Monthly Google Business Profile management costs $125 to $400 a month per profile from agencies and freelancers, according to Merchynt, and $300 to $1,200 a month according to Colorado Web Impressions, whose basic tier is $300 to $600 and whose full map pack program is $800 to $1,200 (both checked September 2026). Software that automates posts and review replies costs far less: Renew Local publishes $30 a month for one location, and Merchynt sells its own tool at $99 a month.
Colorado Web Impressions warns that management under $200 a month is usually automated.
The price mostly follows how much of the work a person actually does.

A monthly Google Business Profile fee usually includes weekly posts, photo uploads, answers to questions and replies to reviews, which is how Colorado Web Impressions describes its $300 to $600 basic tier (checked September 2026). Better plans add category and attribute upkeep, citation work and watching the listing for changes you did not make. Use this list to check what a quote actually covers.
Ziwi charges $450 once for Google Business Profile setup and $297 a month per location for management, which runs inside Local SEO Essentials. Essentials is published as the Google Business Profile posted weekly, citations, on-page fixes, review-ask setup, two new pages or posts a month and a monthly report, month to month. Review asks, monitoring and profile cleanup across review sites are a separate plan, reviews and reputation, at $197 a month per location.
| What you get | Ziwi, published | Market range (source, checked September 2026) |
|---|---|---|
| The profile itself | $0 | $0, Google |
| Setup, one time | $450 | $250 to $750 (Colorado Web Impressions); $300 to $500 (Merchynt) |
| Monthly profile management | Local SEO Essentials, $297 a month per location | $125 to $400 (Merchynt); $300 to $600 basic tier (Colorado Web Impressions) |
| Profile plus two new pages or posts a week and local link outreach | Local SEO, $597 a month per location | Full map pack program, $800 to $1,200 (Colorado Web Impressions) |
| Review asks, responses and monitoring | Reviews and reputation, $197 a month per location | Bundled into some tiers above; no separate range sourced |
Every Ziwi price is published on the pricing page and runs month to month with no notice period, and the profile stays in your Google account with you as the owner. What local SEO adds beyond the profile is broken down in what local SEO costs. Review work is priced in what reputation management costs.
Paying for management is a waste when the profile is suspended, when nobody can show you what was posted, or when the fee buys automation you could run for $30 a month yourself. A suspended profile needs reinstatement first, because weekly posts on a listing nobody can see do nothing, and the steps are in what to do when a Google Business Profile is suspended. These are the red flags in a quote.
Google Business Profile management comes down to three numbers: $0 to Google, a one-time setup that runs $250 to $750 on the market and $450 at Ziwi, and a monthly fee that runs $125 to $1,200 on the market and $297 at Ziwi inside Local SEO Essentials. To work on the map yourself, start with how to rank higher on Google Maps. To have the profile run for you every week, see Ziwi's Google Business Profile management.
Ziwi manages a Google Business Profile for a small business for a flat $297 a month per location, inside Local SEO Essentials, month to month, with setup at $450 once. Of the providers on this page with a published price, Merchynt sells its Paige automation tool at $99 a month and Renew Local publishes software at $30 a month for one location, while Colorado Web Impressions publishes agency tiers of $300 to $600 and $800 to $1,200 a month (all checked September 2026). Those are each provider's own figures, not Ziwi prices: software automates posts and replies, while a managed plan has a person doing the weekly work, which is most of why the prices differ.
